Actually I have seen that page before about two years ago. But I didn’t really explore it.
The parts that I most like, or that I would honestly use, are the quizzes. I love quizzes not only in English but in Spanish too. I made some of the activities on the page such as the Word Master and Puzzles. I think the wordmaster was a little bit easier than the puzzles but I like them booth.
The listening part it’s really helpful especially for those like me, who know a bit of vocabulary but we totally fail on the pronunciation.
I think the page in general it’s really good to practice English and be informed about other things like news, weather, etc. I also think the best way of learning another language is by practicing, talking, listening and playing, like the quizzes on the page. It makes the all learning process more fun and simple that if we were sitting on a class room for 3 hours listening to the teacher.

Two days in Paris

I have to say it’s not my favorite movie but it’s the one that I most remember.
I saw it the first time I ever went to the Biografo Cinema in Barrio Lastarria, I was walking with my boyfriend for the neighborhood and we saw the ad on the entrance so we decided to go in. The cinema is actually really small but I love it.
I didn’t know much about the movie because it wasn’t advertised on the tv or anything, but still, I paid my ticket to see it.
The first minutes I didn’t understand much what was the movie about but after seeing some scenes I laugh so hard I could stop. It was so funny and mess up, the scenes were so fast that you couldn’t much process what was happening in the story.
I really loved it, it has memorable scenes and phrases you might try to use but I recommend watching it with a partner so you can enjoy it more.

Alright! I have to admit that I really don’t like ads on TV; I think they’re boring and when you’re so focus on a movie or a TV series, the ads are the worst thing ever. But honestly when I first so this ad I laugh for a long time, every time I see it is funnier and funnier.
The old Orange Crush ads were uninteresting and pretty much like any ad, were not entertaining or funny or interesting. I guess at some point the company decided to change the advertising campaign and I think it was the best decision they could make.
The ad is short precise and funny. It’s about situations we can all be involved in; we can laugh of ourselves or of those who have been in embarrassing situations. I love the simplicity of the ad, and I think it can happen to any of us.

I’m sure that the earthquake is a really sensitive issue for anyone that felt it. I was at home at that moment. I was talking to my boyfriend at 3 am so I was actually awake when the earthquake happened. I got so scared, I’m usually scared about earth movements, but I know what to do and react when one comes, however this one was different I stood in my bed until my dad came to my room and told to go downstairs.
I was going to the stairs with my sister and my dad and in the minute I put a feet on the stairs the light went off and I find myself trapped in the stairs without light in the middle of the When I get the first floor y staid under the bathroom door frame. I saw the mirror the glass cups and everything around falling and breaking.
Everyone reacted so well, they were calm and doing staff like saving water while I stood in the couch crying. It wasn’t until the next morning when I realized of the magnitude of the earthquake and I couldn’t believe it. I had insomnia for about two weeks; I couldn’t sleep in the nights or the days.
